It automatically removes your HBC, and there is a SMALL chance that your Wii will brick. I updated and everything works fine.
EDIT: Wasn't there a way to update without removing the HBC, or was that to just update the Wii Shop Channel? If someone could clear that up...

Yes, theres a safe Homebrew 4.2 updater I made a thread for it.. It just updates the Wii system menu, and the channels. Nothings done with the CIOS's or Homebrew at all.Quote:
