You never know. It all depends on what music you listen to and stuff. I'm taking a school guitar class and i know wayyy more than the teacher does when it comes to some music theory and overall playing skill. Mainly b/c he listens to classical and jazz but only plays little guitar as he's also the orchestra teacher. I apply what i've learned from studying Buckethead and Paul Gilbert songs and use that to make different genres of songs easier to play. And i'm still learning stuff off of them.

Idk how he is even qualfied to teach the guitar but whatever lol. But yeah since he's limited to his prefered type of music, he doesn't learn much of the technical stuff. The class is an easy A for a fine arts credit.
