i really can't directly help you but i knew, maybe few, that uses the code and can confirm that it works and doesn't freeze their game, unless you are using a flashcart(R4, supercard,M3,etc..) or your ARDS firmware is below 1.54, i can't think of any reason why it freezes .. .. (incorrect input will only give weird item for example using "001C" instead of "001c" will give a different item but it won't freeze the game)
