What is this anyways?
I dont get it.All codes for NTSC MKDS will work for PAL and vice-versa. -dlong
<~ParaMAC> There are only two differences between the USA and EUR MKDS:
<~ParaMAC> The region byte in the header, and the header CRC.
<NEo_Bazz> The EUR is more loved by the kart-gods.
<~ParaMAC> OK?
<NEo_Bazz> Yes.
<~ParaMAC> It's the same exact ROM. But whatever.
<dualscreenman> I see. So all codes should be interchangable?
<~ParaMAC> Will be.
<dualscreenman> Ok
In most games, for whatever reason, there is an offset in the addresses between US, Europe and Japan. In simple terms US might be 100 ahead of Europe so you would have to take 100 off each address to find the correct addresses. However in the case of MKDS, for no reason at all, the bits of the roms your codes effect have no offset. i.e. there is no adding/subtracting to the code to 'translate' it to your region.
