    Default Save extractor not working

I've tried extracting the game save file so I can edit the town and stuff, but I always get a

    Error (ret= -1)

when I try to extract it

I'm using a backed up version of AC:CF btw

    any suggestions?

My suggestion? delete this topic and don't use pirated games.
    Everywhere at once.

It isn't pirated, as I just backed up my real animal crossing

I'll do that once I get the actual game back from my friend, dragonboy

We don't offer help for those of you using "backups" (which is most likely what you're using). Sorry.

Make sure you're using an SD Card (not a USB stick).

I've heard SDHC doesn't work either.
