Question about the New Super Mario Bros. for Wii

Does this game have a built in menu update? If so, will it destroy the usage of the Homebrew Channel?

The PAL version came with 4.1, which would mean no. Who knows with the NTSC-U version.

Nope, got it this morning, the NTSU version does not make you update at all.
I have the latest Nintendo updates however, but wasn't prompted to do anything to play, I just started playing the game.

NTSC version also comes with the 4.1 update Vash.
