Default Tanooki - NSMBWii Save Editor v1.2

    Created by Virus and Vash

We've decided against reinventing the wheel (since Reggie! is already so wonderfully round) and instead we've turned Tanooki into the only NSMBWii save editor! We will keep the beta downloads up for those of you who still would like to use our simplistic level editor.

Make sure when downloading below, you get the newest version; Version 1.2

Nice. This is your "secret" project. Needs a more pwnsome logo though!
How long has NSMBWii been out, like two weeks? Gee, Ninty must have thought it was a bit more secure, but nope. =D

    Congrats on the new tool.
Also looks like someone else is working on a competitive tool.

But to point out the elephant in the room: these are ISO editing tools. They aren't the kind of thing a regular user is going to use. Also it brings in possible copyright infringement of the game itself (using the existing level data by someone who bought the game is one thing, but ISOs pirating of full games is a big problem)

I hope you have considered / will consider making a GeckoOS cheat code (also formerly called "Ocarina codes"). This should allow people to use custom levels with the legit copy of the game on DVD. For people with USB Gecko, it would be nice to load the levels from RAM. For regular users, it would be nice to load the custom levels from the SD card (or perhaps a trick in the gamesave). Distributing the custom levels with the cheat code patch would remove the need for learning how to rip/find/pirate/burn ISO images.

Keep up the good work. There is a lot of potential because the game is brand new ... wait a second, didn't I play this game back in the 80s ???
