    Default Just a teaser

From others' feedback/input, I will keep these HDLC items to myself (guitaraxe2 with hexcode $CA14, and redcrayon2 with hexcode $CA18), and let DSPet decides/controls when/how he wants to release these awesome OHDLC as separate HDLCs. Hopefully it could be soon.

My two cents: There is still a possibility that another person could do this as well and actually distribute the items...

Nevertheless, here are the pictures (just a teaser):

Upon DsPet's request, this will be removed. Until then, nice information. I'm fairly certain he doesn't even want the possibility to be out there. It's a very dangerous area.

Amen to that sonic. I really hope you don't release these, you should try a different project Conacac, we know you can do some pretty cool stuff. Just leave the HDLC project to Dspet

I get the strange feeling that:
A.) you just found out how to do this
B.) so now you're posting about it so people will know you know how (showing off in a way)
C.) without the real intention of ever doing anything

    I'm probably wrong though.

    Thanks for comments/inputs/questions...

@Vash -- yes, I agree, whatever DSPet wants then.

@SonicHyugo/Nicc -- I always keep my words (i.e. will not distribute these items) and hopefully others could trust me.

@dragonboy269 -- the responds for A to C are No, No, and No. Several of my friends want to be able to play with the guitaraxe and redcrayon but they cannot since they already have lightsabers. And I know how to do this about a couple of months ago, but keep asking my friends to install HBC instead of using this approach. With Nintendo is going after the homebrews, then I just try to ask in this forum for feedback before giving those items to my friends (to make sure I dont create issues with DSPet and others in this great forum) since my friends feel installing HBC could create bigger problems now with direct fight by Nintendo (regardless whether they will win this war or not). This posting is just a teaser so more people hopefully will ask DSPet to release those items as separate HDLC (with the intention that my friends will eventually get what they want from DSPet directly).

@Sora1234 -- I need to keep my promise, so unfortunately I cannot share with you (or even give a hint) unless DSPet gives me a permission to do that.
I hope you understand and OK with this.

So all -- please help me and my friends by keep asking DSPet to release those awesome OHDLCs as separate HDLCs. Thanks in advance.

Creating items for use in your town is easy. Please check LMT and ITEM_Tool. Changing the names and item codes is pretty simple too. I wrote tutorials for most of this a while ago.

Distributing to other people over WiFi is a little trickier. I intentionally left the last 1% of the puzzle out of the tools to keep the DLC haters happy (8 or 9 months ago).
PROGRAMMER CHALLENGE: try to share those items with your friends. Get it to work and you win a prize (WARNING: you may screw up your friend's gamesave - danger!)

    > ...It's a very dangerous area.
    Also true.

    > ...please help me and my friends by keep asking DSPet to release those awesome OHDLCs as separate HDLCs.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but they are simply screen captures of existing items with slightly tweeked names and different item codes.
IMHO all but one of the items you mention suck. The Guitar Axe remains the best so far. Other hacked items may be coming soon...

It is now October. The 1 year anniversary of the game is coming soon.
We've given Nintendo 10 months to show us what they can do with DLC.
I think we need to do something better.
