Pretty much the only feature that I'm missing is the ability to swap the villager house texture into something else There's two assigned texture styles in the village, and now that I've been restarting for two days I've yet to receive a combination I fully like (most of the time I get the reddish brick houses, which I find a bit nasty).

And if the textures could be swapped, it would be even more awesome to be able to use region-specific (?) textures, like these in the Japanese version: http://i41.tinypic.com/2ro156v.jpg

That is an NPC_Tool feature. Please comment on this thread / related post.

Im new to all of this hacking, and just started using tool kit and gecko os codes. I was just wondering if at all possible if there is any way the catalog can be changed (in the game) to put the items in alphabetical order? When im getting items for friends its a real pain to have to go through the whole catalog looking for one item!

aimiesherri, You can always use Microsoft Word to do it and edit it in word then print it out. Then you can code them with code manager. You will have the list in its order, shirts A to Z, tools, furniture...etc. You can put code after item. It will take some time, but you will have done it yourself.

by Gold trees, do you mean money trees? if so they are already there.

Hello, I'm new to this forum and hacking the Wii with homebrew. I did it a couple of weeks ago mainly to regrow my grass as I'm sure many others have done. First off, I'm wondering if in the next 1.3 update, will it be possible to place bridges other than selecting the specified acre to do so. My town layout is in such a way where this isn't possible without severely altering the current layout which I don't want to do.

Second of all, will it be possible to regrow grass only in certain areas? To be more specific, will it be possible to pick "squares" in any given acre where grass is to be regrown? The reason for this is my girlfriend for one has "natural" paths, meaning bare ground that she set up as her paths and doesn't wish to simply "revive" all the grass. My paths are patterns so I don't mind using the current feature for my own town.

Of course I may be missing something since I'm new. For instance I don't know exactly what the current "import, export" feature is for or if it can be used for what I wish to do. Please point me in the right direction if this is the case.

By no means am I going to ask "when" will the next update come out. I accept that it will be released when its ready and like any great movie, book, or video game, it should only be released when its just right and not rushed.
