More advanced editing of the 3D models isn't supported (that's what it is called LameModelTool ;-)
Hand crafting of special cases may be possible (esp the often requested MasterSword)

If you mean recoloring the 16-color bitmaps used in ITEM_Tool: don't use the regular color picker. Use the eye dropper to pick one of the colors on the bottom of the bitmap

Nope, pretty sloppy if you ask me.
Still not on the download server (URL - http://nwcs.wapp.wii.com/ruu/rvforestdl_eu.enc - once there is a file there, play the RUUP game; it may take 1->3 days before it shows up - apparently that's normal)
