The new Japanese DLC starts June 15th (JPN time).
As always, when someone gets one of the new EU or JPN items, please email me a copy of your gamesave.

Also there is a promised "Flag Day" DLC for the USA. Flag Day is June 14th. That one I can get myself. I suspect it will be an unwaving flag.

Short answer: I don't know, probably not.

Longer answer: There are 75 KK song items (and 3 not used). There appears to be nothing in the item data that is different. (the item codes may be hard coded?)
BTW: There are some sound effects that are hard coded but can be specified in item data. For example the sounds made by music instruments (you can add them to any furniture).
BTW2: There are some sound effects that you can specify in the DLC data. For example when you activate the item inside your house (eg: BlueFalcon flying).
BTW3: There are also special cases for tool items (the sounds for digging or whoosh when netting a bug).
However, the format for sound files is not known (SRT0 resource type I believe).

So the best answer to get custom music: turn down the Wii sound, and turn up the stereo/iPod/boombox ;->
