If the warranty sticker isn't removed then if the Wii breaks you can remove the HBC and send the wii back Nintendo won't know you ever installed the HBC. If the Wii breaks to the point that it won't turn on then again Nintendo won't know and even if they did if you send it in saying its under warranty and the sticker is intact then 9 times out of 10 they wouldn't care if they found HBC on it considering they most likely will format the wii anyway.
