Make all the patterns simple ones?? have you tried that? Just make all the patterns that are giving you that error and make them all blank.

I believe that earlier that he doesn't have a backup save, so unless there is a fix for his save-corruption or he's going to have to restart the game.

Although, he really should keep a backup save from now on.

The only way I can think of creating a corrupt save is to edit a pattern that's not really in the game. Say you edit Player 4 pattern 1 when you don't have a player 4 in the game. It'll update a checksum without completely adding all of the pattern details. This can also happen when you add an NPC pattern when there isn't one there.

I didn't edit any other players paterns, ony mine. I did edit some "G" pattern thing though. could someone PLEASE give me their save and i'll test something on it. Anyone's save would be very useful. I don't get what you mean by the NPC pattens though.

Cool. Thankyou. I'll try it now.
EDIT: I still can't figure out why it worked BUT (yes.....there is always a but) I realised that before I used Pattview I backed up my Animal Crossing save to my SD card! LOL I did all of this for nothing. Oh well.
