Does the DS versions converter convert to a .pat file? if so ou could use it to import designs.


All you need is a ds save to run it.

That wouldn't work, nintendo has redone how they do their patterns (Pro Design/something like that...)

Then dont use pro design patterns? if you notice when you start you can edit patterns that are non pro.

It doesnt matter. I found the old converter for ds and it makes them .dat files. I guess we will have to make patterns the hard way for now.

If all of the palettes and simple layouts are the same, I could implement support for the old DS converter.

well if you do make it support the old ds converted files that would be nice. I think it would take less work that way too.
