That's possible, but one must be frozen in their to keep the balance (max of 10 per town). AFAIK the game can't handle more than 10.
(IIRC from my earlier experiments if you unfreeze the 11th it is ignored - since it doesn't have a house to live in)
Also the frozen ones will move to other towns over WiFi, so I wouldn't invest time in the frozen ones (unless planning a forced move)
Oh ok, that makes sense! I just see those extra spots in the tool and I get greedy Thanks again.

    Manually write it in....?

Say what you mean, mean what you say, and let your actions speak for you.

Many of the color palettes use the first color as invisible. For champ it is white (and not used in the normal bitmaps. Don't use white, use another background color.

i did. i used the paint brush and used the eye dropper tool to get the black, then i wrote in black on the back of its head. i didnt use a text box.

How come it became invisible? Is there a certain limit i cant edit past on his head?

It will compress the data, and will complain if it is too complex.
I suspect you are using the first "invisible" color. Please post the .BMPs you are using (palette and b0.bmp)

    > I wanna try making my animal have an invisible head
It depends on the species. There are some things fixed by the 3D models.
To experiment, edit all the bitmaps (body, mouth, eyes). Pick the first color (use eye-dropper on the left-most color on the bottom), then fill the entire bitmap with that color.
Test it out. You may come up with half-visible NPCs. If you find something cool, please post photos.

I made a neighbor that was invisible (besides shirt and face...)
Only one side of his head is visible at a time...
