    re: Bitmap problems.
If anyone else is having problems, try opening one of the .BMP files in PBrush/MSPaint, then immediately select 'File'/'Save As'. Check that the "Save as type" is set to "16 Color Bitmap (*.bmp, *.dib)". Hit "Cancel".
In general try not to use "Save As". Use regular "File"/"Save" (or ALT-F4 + spacebar for fast keyboard exit).

    re: problems with gender/personality
Hopefully will be in the next update (BTW: The core data is copied, but some data is missing)

Thanks, it works great with KolourPaint and Wine (Linux).
So, the maximum number of villagers is 20 O_o ? That's huge!

Minor update: Now you can tweek the personality (like AC:WW, 3 different male, 3 different female choices)

Not quite. Apparently 10 is the max you can have in your town at one time. There is only room for 10 NPC houses.
The extra slots are used for travelling neighbors (like the "9th neighbor" slot(s) of the AC:WW game). In AC:WW there was one incoming slot, and one outgoing slot to store "frozen" neighbors. If another one tried to move out, one had to die.
With AC:CF there is much more room so frozen neighbors won't truely die as often. I don't know the limit, but I have a test town with 10 regular NPCs and 3 frozen ones (trying to escape from the town over WiFi)

Choose an animal with the gender/ mood that you want? Its that simple >_>

Say what you mean, mean what you say, and let your actions speak for you.

@DSPet yes i know... >< Also next release is great, looks like this program is already perfected?

@Maniac Sorry didnt mean to argue with ya. Not only did i make a mistake but i also made a grammar error in my post that started all this. Sorry.

The texture editing is great too, my first animal i plan to customize is gona be Peppy Hare off of star fox. Its gona be my town theme, long work in progress. Anways, my first animal will look something similar to this. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...0033911382.jpg
