The invitation to Redd's store is actually a letter, not a real item.

So the letter sets a flag, allowing you into Redd's. Maybe a check box could be added in ACToolKit to set that flag?
Or use FMK's letter editing idea and we could send ourselves the letters. :P

Waiting for a letter from your NPCs to get into Redds is part of the game. If you want to cheat, the existing ACToolkit lets you create the items without meeting Redd.
(and other requests, which IMHO are getting too esoteric)

FWIW: my philosophy for the old AC:WW Map Editor was to provide a tool for making impossible things possible (eg: rearranging the town acres, laying out towns) or to make tedious tasks much easier (eg: auto weeding, making bells, making rare items).
When it gets to the point where you are adding save editor features to replace features that are relatively easy or core parts in the game, then you need to stop adding features !->
When in doubt, play the game! (it can be fun to play it the 'normal' way, at least for a few minutes ;-)
Alright, good call. I respect that. I get too impatient sometimes. ;]
BUT you get one from Redd every week (as a piece of stationery to send to a friend) when you buy at least 1 item from him.Originally Posted by Virus

Seriously.
I was just wondering if you could give better descriptions of the shoes. Like not much but more accurate.
I've picked a few colours sometimes and they've been nothing like what they said.
I think i picked a pink pair from the bottom and they came out blue lol.
Also, if you're adding the few items that are missing from the toolkit, the ones I've noticed are all the chess set pieces, birthday cake and the moth orchid.
I think that's it though.
I seem to have found a small glitch. If you use the the acre edit before you have a third bridge built, in a specific situation you will have a perpetual loop with the town fund. It will continually try to build a new bridge and every time you donate it will just keep going with the bridge and never move on to the fountain. I found a way to fix this but I just thought a warning might be good. You might want to do the bridge fund before editing your acres. I've been in this bridge building process 3 times now, and they never built a bridge or moved on.
