Yeah, I would say, why not just leave your bulletin board by your gate ? You don't really need it at the town hall. And can't you just leave your gate open when you're not there. I do that all the time and have people visit.
Also, is there any way to go in and edit the item codes, for example to add one that the editor doesn't recognize but is legit ?

Assuming that I don't find some major bug, v1.1 should be out this weekend for sure. I've added support for tans; however, the tans only appear during the summer months.
