ACToolkit v1.3 For Windows & v1.0 For Mac OS X

This is my Animal Crossing: City Folk save editor, known as ACToolkit. Currently, it can only edit decrypted save files (RVFOREST.DAT) that can be obtained using Waninkoko's Savegame Extractor. You can re-install the save file using the Savegame Installer.

Always keep a backup of your unmodified save file in a safe place!

Note: The shoe style and acre descriptions are not that great. Feel free to post a better set. I also plan on organizing the acres better in another release.

This is awsome. it actually works. will this cause bricking to ur save file if you do to much?

Always keep a backup!!! (actually keep lots of backups!-)
Like AC:WW, if you change *too* much, the game will reject the town (it will say the data is corrupt, and ask to start over). This usually happens because of buildings. Revert back to the last working copy of the town, and try again (but make fewer changes).
It won't cause permanent damage to the Wii itself.

FWIW: 'Virus' is doing all the real work for the toolkit. I'm helping out on a few things.

Thank Virus, its working great! But for suggestions, it'd be nice if there was some visual. Nothing fancy, but a way to percept where the cliffs and rivers are. (etc.)

To add to this, any chance of being able to resize the Town Editor window? I have a 22" monitor so I could fit my whole town on my screen.

I made the window re-sizable and will be in the next beta (hopefully out tomorrow). See the the to-do list in my first post to see what I've done/need to do.

If your talking about the save extractor an installer: If you downloaded from wiibrew its because the meta.xml and another executable (keep forgetting the name) is missing. (I had the same problem but my friend gave the stuff to me.)

I'd love to see a way for you to get 100% completion on the catalog/museum/etc. Also, I'd like it to be someday as functional as Animap.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot; I'd also like to see a way to edit your character's appearance, the animals in your town (Names/Personalities/...), etc.

Wow, I'm surprised at how fast a map editor was released. Great job, Virus. However, do you think it would be possible to implement a feature that would change the name of one's town?

Yeah, I'm sure it's possible. I'll work on getting a name changer in a future release.

Just chiming in here to say "Thanks Virus". I'm amazed with how fast a map editor has already been released. I won't load you up with requests or anything; as a programmer myself I know how it feels to get bombarded.

I wrote that before I checked the program out, but a shirt/hat editor would be nice. Also, changing what stage your house is on/what Nook's you have would be cool.

EDIT: A way to change your character's name/sex would be a great idea.

The player name would be Hacker, and the town would be Demo. It would be saved just after the part-time work for Nook.
