Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
This is going to be the only AC:WW help thread. Please, do not make anymore topics under Handheld Hacking. If you are having a problem with something, post about it here. The amount of AC:WW topics are becoming quite redicilious; this is not an Animal Crossing help forum.

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
This is for who ever was seeded with U 1.1 I think virus is locking all AC:WW topics so that we use this thread.... Virus Why not just make an AC:WW requests sub-forum?

I'm not sure if this would work, but perhaps use Virus' coordinate modifier to walk on the river and pluck it? Or guesstimate the location of it and generate a code with AnimalMap.

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread

Thats why he is locking the requests.
Area51_Hacker2 if you are going to "make" de-seeding codes at least ask someone who knows what they are doing if it is right...

AnimalMap help!!
Am sure you guys get this question over and over again so if you dont want to answer it its ok.
I have read the this on aibohack and thats not helping me at all as I have ards.
So my problem is.
I am trying to edit my town map which includes changing the whole map and the buildings and what not.
After I get the code I put it in my code manager the transfer it to my ards.
When I put on my game to activate the code to see if it works nothing happens when i click on the trigger buttons.
The only thing that I have noticed is that if I placed an item on the map on my computer when it press the combination buttons those items show up on my game only the items, but not the original map I created.
I have done this over and over again I just dont get what I am doing wrong.
I have 1.1. btw.
So plz help someone. :x

Re: AnimalMap help!!
you have to go into a building and out its the same as if you was placing a seed... oh and if that doesnt work no idea what will...
guide:
1. activate the code
2. go in a building doesnt matter wich one
3. come out
4 go to where it was and then the edits should be there
as i said if that doesnt work go ask virus or one of the administrators...
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
nope it dosent work
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
Do you have a save file of your game? The changes won't work correctly unless you estimate where the buildings are in your town, or you get the save file for your specific town layout.
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
yes I have one everything is in the same place, the bridges, the same ocean and ponds.

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
Okay. There's a couple of squares in the ground where I can't put anything down on it nor dig ino it. I used a search and replace code(1.0) to take out a bulletin board from the ground(It was in the dirt you can dig in). I have been covering my town with patterns on the ground and it seems I cannot place them in the area where the bulletin board was placed(I already removed it) Help please?

That happens, when you try and add an item to a location that cannot be removed (say via AnimalMap), nothing can go there.

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
Is there any way to take it out without animal map?
EDIT: Nevermind. Found the solution :P

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
(Sorry 4 double post)
It seems whenever I enter the museum and try to go into the ocean room(fish section) my game freezes. I really haven't tried going into the other museum rooms yet though. I'm fine in the first room of the fish section though.
BTW I have 1.0 and am using the Walk through Anything hack. Whenever I disable that code(or take out my AR) it doesn't freeze anymore...

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
How many codes are you running?
It depends, the DS only has 4 MB of RAM to run.
Thus, letting many many codes to be on, unless they are smaller than most codes.
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
Ah. I see. I have about 21 on xD
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
please help with my AR i can't get the hex code code to work so you can use them, help!!

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
This is about taking snapshots with animal map. how do I do that?
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
Snapshots are there for the program to analyze what you have done with the current config and turn it into a code.
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
OK This is random but........
YO I hope this isn't off topic but the other day I used a search and replace code replacing the neighbors and the people were right I could not remove the weed I replaced the neighbor with but I had a idea I don't know why but I plucked it as the other guy, my other game cardtridge, was exiting and it plucked it all right but gave the other dude a scorpio sting causing the game to crash because as I'm sure you all know your game won't crash if the guest gets that effect BUT if the host does he's supposed to appear in front of his house and on wifi it's not able to do that and therefore the game crashes. NOW Virus or someone probably could make a more detailed explanation going in depth but im just pointing out what I discovered.

Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread

What do you mean by "recreating" nook's cranny? o_0
-
Re: Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread
Just my opinion, but I think they want to change their Nook's Cranny to a Nookington's, for example.
My problem: I would like to use the search & replace code for v1.1. I want to change multiple things to one item, and I understand that I need to use a range. However, I don't exactly know how to do that. XP How would you create a range for this code?:
Search and Replace
Code:
94000130 FDBF0000 --Activator (in this case L+Up)
D3000000 021E36A2
C0000000 00000FFF
DC000000 00000002
F2000000 00000002
92000000 0000XXXX --Change XXXX to the item you're replacing
10000000 0000YYYY --Change YYYY to the item you want XXXX to become
D2000000 00000000
Also, could someone give me some different "activators" so I can activate the code with something besides L+Up?
Thank you!
