I would post pics of my attempts, but since I never installed any of the hacking programs on the Wii, I'm stuck with a few (pathetic) attempts to make a Gizoid Helms out of the zap helmets, with questionable/no results.

Here is my attempt at a Gizoid head, I couldn't test how it looks though.
My goal was for it to be colored like either Emerl, or Charyb/Scylla

Most can easily be changed into "OHDLC" for hackers to play with. Some may be too big (eg: MasterSword) and require some hand trimming. There are limitations to OHDLC (ie. only 1 hat, only 2 custom axes; so far)
Well...the Dimentio mask, and Captain Falcon helmet would be nice, I like those two the best. You rock! :D

Real (permanent) HDLC follows the "New Plan".
Since there are only 256 slots/spaces (and Nintendo is eating them up for their promotions) permanent HDLC should be high quality and popular (ie. voting).
Like Nintendo DLC, once "HDLC" is released, world-wide, it will be there forever.
On the other extreme. "OHDLC" is promiscuous. Any old item will do. Make up a good or crappy Hacked Item and it will likely become OHDLC. Standards are low.
So far there are only 2 axe (chopping weapon) slots, and one hat slot. They can be used to test any hat or axe OHDLC but only 1 or 2 at a time. More "OHDLC" slots may be added, but I'd like to use them for new item types (eg: nets, slingshots, fireworks?)
Hmmmm....I see. So we need a good hat item that we can release as HDLC.
