How does somebody achieve staff/mod/admin ect. status?

for one thing, posting search and replace codes that don't have any possibility of working isn't gonna get you anywhere...

Well first of all, all of the staff are very good hackers, unlike almost all of the normal users. They're all very active and helpful, except in situations where the person who wants help really shouldn't get any because it's an easy question that's probably been answered a dozen times and had 30 topics created about it so far :P

I don't know if that's the requirements, but that's just my observations of how the staff are, so I'd assume that's partly what you'd need to do to be on the staff ;)

Anywho, you have to have years of hacking experience. Just chill around the forums and the IRC with us and get to know everybody. Who knows, when we need somebody for a position, it could be you! You need a basic understanding of hacking.

Apparently letting current admins take most members and codes from one's site doesn't ;)

Meh, I don't really mind, I wouldn't be much of a good helper anyways, I'm good with people, not so much with hacking.

I'm hoping to some day be good enough to, but I definitely don't think I could yet :P

Lol mrfruzzle, we didn't take codes from HW. Technically, we made the codes in the first place. I'm not sure if that's what you were referring to. Trust me, you're up there in the running for honorary staff. Don't you worry...
