Animal Crossing: Wild World Help Thread

o,o Welll.... Here's another question, My file for Animal Crossing Wild World was broken? It gave me a Warning sign then another warning sign with apostrophes say their was 2 codes left. Does that mean I had to many codes added or did that mean I corrupted it because of a cheap/scam code? How do I fix this problem?

I never had this problem...what do you mean by "cheap/scam code" and my guess would be to use Action Replay Code Manager...

I have a problem, and someone I knew also had this problem.

I used a code to skip the part of doing Nook's jobs in the beginning of ACWW, and it did let my player skip the chores, but it caused some odd side effects. I either find Tortimer or Resetti when I come out of my house - Tortimer says some dialog as if he just gave me a golden rod or golden net, and Resetti yells at me for resetting (though I did not).

I can't seem to find the code again, but I think the code to skip Nook's jobs needed to be activated at a certain point. Has anyone else had this problem or know a solution?

It was reported that the Skip Nook's Job Code had bugs. One being, after you use it (load the game with it) resetti appears outside of your house.
I would normally use Virus's Skip Nooks Job+No Resetti Code and that normally does the trick. That way I don't get resetti and my chores are done. Tortimer would leave after the next event I think, so you could either time travel him out or wait till the next event he appears in.

Thanks for the tips! I didn't even think about using a town event for Tortimer.

I forgot to mention, some codes that normally work didn't work either - they froze the game when activated. I tried using Dragonboy's in-game name mod, his Text to AR 6.0, and a Real Time World Edit, all of which froze. I tried fixing it by changing the Skip Jobs code to a different value, and I was able to do the chores. After I did that, RTWE and the name mod worked, but not the Text to AR.

Well that's more of a question to Virus since that is his code, I'm assuming your thinking of making a code that lets you re-do Nook's Chores?
I could search around the address and find the original value though, I'll post back here when I'm done.

Edit: Using Dragonboy's Text To AR 6.0, the value I have at that address on a save that has its chores completed gave me the value of 0x4A2C. I should make a player 2, then check the value at the address before I start the chores.
