Call this a crazy feature request, but would it be possible to import one of the 4 players from one ac save, into another you open? I have a very old backup save with my guy on it. My nephew thinking he was funny, deleted my char while I was on vacation. So....he's in limbo now, and too much has changed since I've been gone for me to dare roll the save back that far.
Hopefully you have a copy of a save file with the character. Extract your latest save that is on your Wii (the one without your character) and open it into AC_Toolkit. Then export the town layout in the "Edit Town" section under "File". Save it somewhere that you will remember. Now install the save that you have that had the character back onto the Wii and play your game on the current day. Just enough to load to be able to play and save. Extract that save and load back into AC_Toolkit. Go to "Edit Town" and now "Import" the town layout that you had extracted from the other save file. Apply it and save. Install back onto the Wii and now you have your current layout with your character.
Edit: This will only update your villagers, trees, flowers, etc. You will have to use AC_Toolkit to put any items or money onto the save that you had acquired since that save.

I use AC Toolkit, and I'm wondering if there are other acre layout (*bin) files out there, ones not included with the AC Toolkit software, that we can download to modify our towns? I ask because of that 'import' button on the Acre Editor window.
Anyone know?

Hey, for the next version of ACToolkit, it'd be great if one still could change the actual gender :P Because I tried to dress up as one of my friends and the only difference was the dress at the bottom, and one can't change that with actoolkit.... i remember with animalmap for acww it worked... If you could restock all items in Nook's store, there wouldn't be the glitch. Otherwise, there is. If you upgrade Nook's store, there will be empty space where the new items are supposed to be. The only way of fixing it right now is manually changing the stocked items in his store.
I don't want to speak for Virus or anything, but I'm fairly certain that v1.3 is the final version of ACToolkit.

the problem is when i use the ac tool kit and added the kk slider music...when i start to play the music...the game will crashed.. any way to solved this problem?

Thanks to Virus for testing out the file...found out it's a conflict between some of the codes that i was using.. no solution yet....but i was able to load and change music without crashing the game under the normal mode (no cheat code) apply. then exit and go back to the modify mode(with code). and your music will still able to play but just don't open your stereo or music player while under the modify mode or the game will crashed (just like from before).
just thought if anyone else is having this problem.. this is the solution so far..
hello, got another question...this happened a few time when i try...i placed the Gulliver's UFO in the map reinstall the save game. played the game..but next day..Gulliver's UFO will disappear. is there any way to have the Gulliver's UFO there Permanently?

I'm still learning how to use the ACToolKit and in experimenting over the weekend I was able to move buildings, but the stepping stones that belong to the buildings were in the orginal spot - even when I selected an acre with Nook in the name for example. I can see the gray stones on the grid, but am unable to successfully move them. Any advise?
You have to use the "Acre editor" to find the area called "Insert Acre here muesem, Nooks, etc. Then, put whatever you like on it. :D
I don't know if anyone can help me, but hopefully someone can! :) I just recently started using ACToolkit, and I had one town. Somehow the file got corrupted, and I had to start over. I am using a new SD card. While editing my pockets, I wanted to put some DLC in there, and when I went to it, the only thing showing up is the Wii Locker. ALL of the DLCs were on my old town. Does anyone know what to do?

I have a question, how exactly does ac tool kit place a house or building like is there a pacific bit of coding that tells the game witch house is where ?
I would like to know because while working on my project I found out that the city buildings are separate files from the main city structure
it is set up just like the town buildings so again how exactly does ac tool kit place houses and stuff. With that information it might be possible to bring the city to the town.
A section of the save file contains the coordinates of each building's location. The ACToolkit just changes those coordinates. You won't be able to place the city's buildings in your town by save editing.
