My save does that if I use any Ac toolkit but 1.3, I guess because its the latest :/
sora i just put your town on my sd card played it a few min then saved but i cant get it to open with ac tool kit either.i did notice file size diffrents. any one i save is 4.05mb and yours is 4.12mb i dunno if thats why or not
Yeah every town is 4/05 mb.. Did you do something dumb like put two file lists or something in there?

Removing trees (and other objects) won't decrease the file size. You will need to remove the last 64704 bytes of the save file for the ACToolkit to accept it. I'm not sure why your save file contains those extra bytes.
It installs and extracts fine on the wii its just the toolkit that wont open it

I removed the extra bytes. Download here and try installing. After that, load your town, save, and extract the save file again. See if the problem still persists.

Try installing the save again, but instead of booting the game, immediately extract the save file. Let me know the result.
Just did and it changed to 4.12 megabyte again
So is it the extractor and installer acting up?
If you have another SD card, try using that. If not, you could try formatting the SD card to FAT or FAT32 after backing up the contents.
If problem is still occuring, I can write a simple application for you that will remove the extra bytes from the save file.
Now that you mention it I did get a new sd card
But i would also like that application if i can
