Looking forward to the release, any estimation days, weeks, months, years?
I had an idea I'd love to see in AC Toolkit 1.3 if possible.
We have something to edit what's inside the nooks shop. Is it possible to have something to let us pick WHICH nooks shop we have? So we can pick from the 4?
I would love to see this implemented. Any thoughts on this?
ee1vv2aa3nn4:
I'll try getting v1.3 out sometime within the next week.
Duchess:
v1.3 includes a feature to import and export town layouts, which includes grass, buildings, and items.
Bacontube:
I will look into adding this feature. No guarantees, though.
Edit: Got it.
hey Virus thats one creepy avatar you got there <_>
and i would really like a face editor for the player, but thats kinda hard isnt it? i mean not the eyes swap, but a way to edit the bit maps o nthe afce like on the Animaltoolkit
This might me a noobish question, idk, but i moved my buildings around and the concrete didnt show up. At first i didnt care but now im wondering how can you get it back? Or if you can add a feature on 1.3 to add this type of landscape not just grass.
the concrete won't show up. The concrete is part of the 'layer'. If you used the Edit Acres option, you can try and put your house on it.
Well the thing is.. i dont have any concrete in my town >_> so im trying to get it back but dont know how lol.
Like Sonic said, go to the EDIT ACRES. Find the kind of concrete your Tom Nook's shop had, and place it in the same acre that your shop is in. Then, go back to edit town or whatever, and move the shop over to the concrete, that should be gray.
Virus; Have you thought about a "click, and drag" feature?
Like if you wanted to drop a lot, of one item. You could just click and drag the mouse. Some computers use this feature, and i thought it would be cool to add to ACToolkit. :D
e.g. You want to drop 20 royal crowns, you just click and drag the mouse from the starting point, to the end point. :)
Do you mean when you click an area, drag the mouse and a box-like thing follows to your destination point, then drops the items?
Like so:

I was bored. :p
Same here. That never does that for me...
Well, that's certainly odd. I wonder why it would work that way for me and not for either of you?
Look, I even made you some video proof....
That's me, placing a whole mess of 99,000 bell bags all over my town by click/dragging all over the place.
lol that's not what we mean. That works, but we are saying more of a box fill.
I have another great example. If you ever played with Microsoft Word, paint, etc, you should know the box tool. You know how you click and drag to make the square a certain size? This is what we mean by that.
Ya. Some computers use this feature to delete a lot of things off their desktop at one time.
Maybe I found a bug. The 'larel wreath' or something is link's hat from zelda. Is this normal?
Ooooh, o.k. I see what you're asking. You want a drag to select feature (a way to select multiple grid boxes at once and then fill all of those boxes with the same chosen item).
Known issue.
Would it be hard to port ACToolkit into a Homebrew application? And it could work directly with the game save file in Wii.
This question perhaps could be asked for other tools as well like NPC_Tool, PattView, EZ_DLC.
> Would it be hard to port ACToolkit into a Homebrew application?
It has been discussed before. My opinion - no good reason for it, see here:

>This question perhaps could be asked for other tools as well like NPC_Tool, PattView, EZ_DLC.
It's possible. That's one of the reasons I started the PattView technical information topic. Most of the inner workings of PattView are described there, so an ambitious coder could take it and replicate it on the Wii. I don't see much of a point, but I guess it would be cool to have a PattView homebrew application on your Wii.
P.S. I stole DsPet's reply style. I like it ;)
Thanks for responding, I agree on the difficulties for users of the tools (i.e. using Wiimote, hopefully they could use USB keyboard, if they have :)).
I am now trying to learn more of developing Homebrew applications, so trying to solicit idea on what application that could help players of this ACCF game that could work the best as Homebrew apps (besides Geckoos
of couse).
Thanks Men =)
Hello I have the Savextractor and the Savinstaller, I have already upgraded my town with the toolkit and have it on the WII but when i close out my game and take out the SD card and open it up on the PC it does not show and changes that I have made in the WII it only shows what was changed in the SD card beforing i played it on the WII. How do i get to save the items and patterns my friends give me when they come to my town. I have done the following after I close out my AC/CF game I would open up homebrew channel and used the savextract but when I place the SD card in my PC it only showed what I did in the toolkit before it was place in the WII. I'm sorry but my friend in the UK is having trouble downloading the Homebrew Channel, on her SD Card she has the Privite folder and the boot.dol but still can't get the channel to upload it keeps telling her that it can not open or it just freezes up. If you can please help us out that would be great.
You need to use the save extractor again. Changes won't be made unless you extract again onto your SD card.
the Homebrew Channel can only be installed by Bannerbomb on System Menu 4.0.
Go to this site: http://bannerbomb.qoid.us/ and follow the directions.
boot.dol should go into a folder inside the "apps" section on the root of your friend's SD Card for the Homebrew Channel to read it.
well i'm back and i'm sorry i spazzed and stuff.
when i said those things it was the last days of my school and i was very stressed out.
i hope you guys can forgive me.
and Hi lol
It would be cool to have ACToolkit or an0ther programm on the WII. Then I don't need a pc anymore. And it's faster I think, if you forget to put an item on the ground or whatever you only have to start the app on the Wii and place it.
I have already made some names
1.ACToolWiit
2.ACToolKiit
3.ACToolK(wi)it
Well now we have the names we are 99% there :)
Any way the obvious name is:
ACToolkit: Lets Go to the Wii
DUH! :P
