darn. I don't have a USB Gecko. I'll buy one as soon as I get money. Please fix the gamesave address as soon as possible, because I love the item tool and I really want to test it out. :(

Can someone make some Easter eggs? It'll be fun to hide those and have people look for them XD
If you edit items, will they appear edited on wifi?
I may not be great at this but it is still fun to mess around with XD Thanks DsPet and any one else that has worked on it :)
> The RUUP gamesave address is screwed up. I'll fix it soon.
Fixed for RUUP (EU/UK/OZ "LetsGoToTheCity") GameSave (slow) approach. Sorry for the sloppy testing.
Please re-download the GCT file. http://www.aibohack.com/wii/itemtool_cheatcodes.zip
For USB-Gecko owners, please use the existing patch_ruup.bin. A cleaner fix will come later.

No.
QUOTE: The graphics changes you make will only be visible in your town.
NOTE: To show others your work in progress, use the game screenshot mechanism. Later they may become "OHDLC" for wider testing.

> Can someone make some Easter eggs?
There are already the built-in "Bunny Egg" items (which turn into Bunny Foil or ???). 13 of the eggs, 12 of the foil. Not sure how these are used in the normal game.
BTW: Some of these item transitions appear to be hard coded in the game (ie. can't be changed in DLC AFAIK). For example the wearing down and ultimate breaking of an axe is done with normal items only.
Are the item files downloadable from somewhere?
(I'm trying to recolor the Turban and a few types of glasses into Emerl's head (from Sonic Battle)
I don't have USB Gecko, but it's still fun to make the items.
How do we edit hats. I want to edit normal items also^
i can edit axes now but how i can edit hats (like pikmin hat)?
lol sry
here an example:
http://i89.servimg.com/u/f89/13/09/45/63/lollll13.jpg
That's what happens to me too! It always ends up being a tool. I don't know how to make it a hat.
When I put it on, the game freezes.
... Did you upload a hat? -______-
yes MRDSBOY is right
its the same in my game
>___> I'm not even going to bother..
Hmm.... Would it be possible to edit on the feather from the turban onto a zap helmet, while lowering the feather a bit, keeping the blue jewel in place, adding on two more large, semi-transparent blue eyes, then making the helmet completely enclosing, then edit on details from there?
Or am I thinking way too far ahead for now...
At the moment way to far ahead for the general user... DSPet MIGHT be able to do that, dunno. All depends on if hes gotten any farther
Yeah...
Are we close to being able to make a hair accessory Anime (Cat) Ears, you know, the large, rounded ones that wouldn't alter hair style, but would change color to match your current one.
How can I download Item files?
The 2000+!Here

:)
Is it possible to rip 3D models from other games and put them in Animal Crossing? (if they are in a .brres file)
re: hat editing
Hat editing is a little trickier. You can use them like a tool or a furniture item for now.
Also any more elaborate editing will require true 3D model tools.
re: advanced 3D model editing
As mentioned, the tools are relatively primitive. You can easily chop off "PolyGroups" that you don't need, if you are lucky enough to find a 3D model that is close to what you want (eg: the folk guitar, but not the electric guitar).
Major reorganizing or adding something new is not currently supported.
Similarly .brres files from other game are probably not compatible, but see if "LMT" can read them just for fun. This also raises copyright issues.
re: 2000+ models.
Available for now here: http://www.aibohack.com/nintendo/all_item_brres.zip
File is 10.5 MB (NOTE: Nintendo copyrighted material - straight from the game ISO; Arguably a 'fair' use to use with AC:CF since you have a license to use it when you bought the game; not a fully working game, so not piracy)
NOTE: next version of "LMT" will do a slightly better job of automapping the textures (and give a UI for tweeking them). In the mean time you use LMT to open the .BRRES files to find ones that are good starting places.
thanks for your fast answer!
The test town is corrupt for me...
How do I fix it?
you re-download the files.
Lol thts strange works for me but i use the usb gecko version. I'll bet you use gamesave bersion and from my point of view everyone seems to be having a problem if they are pal. Might be the case with you.
man thtz strange. works for me. :/
I have Wii System Menu 4.0...
Does that have something to do with it?
yes definatly tht version disables homebrew man it could work with 3.4 and under but i dont think 4.0 will upgrading system menu when you have homebrew is a bad idea
Well, I found the two main items to attempt to alter Cap 95 (Bun Wig) and Cap 100 (Cat Cap), but I can't figure out what files to swap to move only the ears over to replace the 2 buns, then the files that determine how it is colored the same has your hair.
Dang...
I'll wait to see what DsPet has to say... :P
you know the ears or buns might be seperate which could cause a problem
