I'll try using animalmap to get addresses when I can
Emulators and Emuhaste (memory searcher) help a ton to be honest.. since you can see what value it is giving you...
Of course you need to make a legal dump of your game ;)
Eh or you can always download the rom and say it was a dump from your game..
