This thread was made after I nervously emailed nintendo a while back I think. Or something, I don't remember.
Please ignore it if you stumble upon it, nintendo itself just thinks that roms are illegal.

Incorrect. You can. You have to legally own the game cart and you have to make the dump yourself.

Exactly, besides I just play the 10+ number of games I have for the DS.

Unless you're hosting the games on a server, then there's no way they can find out who downloads what roms. But if you get caught, there's no way out. I had a friend who was hosting a game so that people may download it and he got caught. He was almost brought to court with EA Games. Lucky for him they dropped the charges, but now he's red flagged by EA.
