Tom nook as neighbor?

Any way to do this? Where is his 3d model aka prototype and texture kept?

I.e. DS/Wii not Animal Crossing :L

However the answer to your question is much the same - It should be possible to copy the model but that would require you to know where it's stored, as I understand it there aren't any tools that will just scan through your iso or nds dump of your game and render the models (texture less or otherwise) I haven't made any great research into this but if it was as easy as this to do then people would be doing more advanced model editing.

However you are saved, I think, by the neighbour editor if you are on a Wii game, with some screen shots and experimentation you should be able to create a fairly convincing Tom Nook from another squirrel/fox like species.

P.S. This is perhaps a more pleasing solution anyway as your friends on other Wii games over wifi will be able to view your masterpiece.

Several questions.
I assume you mean AC:CF for the Wii, and using regular gamesave hacking (using NPC tool)
(NOTE: more things are possible with ISO editing, or tricky runtime USB Gecko tricks on the Wii, or similar ROM hacking tricks on the DS for AC:WW)

But sticking to NPC_Tool:
The NPC characters available for customization use different 3D models, which are hard coded in the game.
NPC_Tool lets you tweek the textures, but not the 3D models: http://www.aibohack.com/wii/accf_npctex.htm

The 'special' NPC characters like Nook use different 3D models so a 100% texture mapping is not possible.

Someone did use NPC Tool to recolor one of the regular NPC models to look a lot like Nook (check the Neighbor sharing thread here, and also the ACC AnimalCrossingCommunity forum if interested).

If you know how to rip and dump ISO images, you can find the 3D models and textures in the "/Npc/Special" folder.
There are some tools that dump these files (especially for Mario Kart hacking)
FWIW: my tool "LMT" (lame model tool) will dump some of these as well, but the texture rendering is not perfect.

The special models have a weird naming scheme. It was discussed earlier for runtime hacks (see this thread for details: http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.ph...,1856.225.html )
NOTE: This lets you play around with Special characters (eg: http://www.aibohack.com/wii/recess.htm ) - but won't turn them into true neighbors.
