A Little Annoying

My Wii now cannot play Gamecube games. It started about a couple of months ago. However, if I run it through Gecko OS, it runs the GC game. Any idea what happened? =\

So just the disc channel wont load gamecube games anymore? If you have a bootmii boot2 nand backup just try reinstalling the system menu you are on. But beware that if you have any modified ios files they will be reverted back to the ones that were present at the time of that system menu. So say you are on sys menu 3.2U, find a wad for the system menu and install it using wadmanager.

If that's the case, I could just wait until Nintendo releases another system update. (hopefully a better one)

Or you could just update to 4.2.

I must have installed that without noticing. I guess I'm going to have to find a workaround for that, or just wait.

That is interesting, I guess I can't play Gamecube games also.

I would have never known haha.

According to that article, just turn off "Region Free Wii Discs" to restore the Gamecube functionality.

I really hope that can be fixed. I don't think I want to go to Gecko OS just to play a GC game. xD
