If you Wii get bricked

Ok, What to do if you Wii get bricked or to avoid it in the future? (Maybe I need to install apps on my Wii or something) I don't understand what I have to do if my wii get bricked...

PS- My wii is not bricked but I want to avoid it.

Get preloader/bootmii

Like hyperonion said go get preloader v.29 and bootmii. Make sure if your wii isnt a lu64/65 that you install it as boot2, if your wii is a lu64/65 just install it as a ios and also install it as sd card also. Make sure you have a gamecube controller for the bootmii you will need it to edit the settings.

Also you can use a Nand dumper to backup your wii console.Then if you brick go to preloader (If settings are to autoboot)(Also put the wii backup in the sd card root in a folder called softmii)Run the HBC. Run a app called Softmii tweak toy.Click to install the wii backup.

(BTW:To put on autoboot on the preloader go to its settings and enable autoboot.Do this before you get bricked.Preparation)(Then all you have to do to load preloader is hold reset while powering on your wii.)

A wii
A Nand dumper HB app
A preloader installer HB app
Softmii Toy Tweaker HB app
A computer to keep a copy of your wii console

softmii 3.0 and bootmii comes with a nand dumper that you can get to use if you are going to go that route.

I just bricked my wii XD

Lucky I had preloader installed

(BTW Dont try the ssbb wii skin thats how I bricked mine)

I tried Preloader, but the problem with the Disc Drive spinning while WiiConnect24 is on was driving me crazy. Luckily I had a backup of my NAND and used RestoreMii.

I think I could live without this.

yeah im likeing preloader but i havent tried restoremii
