AC Toolkit question.

I am a new user of the ac toolkit, so I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong, or if it was a bug in the program. Everything seems to work great but when I try to change my shoe color no matter what I choose they always come out yellow, and the hairstyle change doesn't work for me either. It probably seems lame, but as I said I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something on my end I was doing wrong. Also, I was wondering if there was anyway I could get both the lighthouse and the windmill in my town?
