Help with the Text to Item Code

I use it but no item appears.
Heres what Im doing

I open my AR software put in code
I then transfer it to my DS
I choose the cheat to use
I then go on game
I type in a code
I press Start and Select
I then go to my inventory, nothing is there

You have to submit the hex code first before the action button...

make sure you have the right code for the right version of the game. On the back of your game, Its in bold and it might be hard to see but it should say either

ADMEN0J22 which tells you that you have 1.0
or
ADMEN1J22 which tells you that you have 1.1

And when you figure that out, you do exactly like you have been doing.
