Error #001 An unauthorized device has been detected

Well, I was sucked back into Accf. But upon finding my game, it was INCREDIBLY scratched up, so after some cleaning and testing, it still didn't work. So i decided that I would just get a backup. Now here's my problem. I put it in the Wii disc slot, and went to the disc channel. It would show the opening banner, and let me hit start. As soon as I hit it, it said and error has occured please eject the disc. So when that happened, I went to neogamma R4. Then I started it by hitting launch DVD. It would recognize it and start it but then it said "Error #001:An unauthorized device has been detected" Then it wouldn't do anything else. I tried to go to the Wii system memory, thinking that might be the problem. As soon as I go to the system memory, it shuts down, it won't even let me see it. Should I just install a new 4.0 wii menu? Oh, and please note my SD card is broken. So I don't know if doing a new wii menu is good.
