Importing and exporting towns..

Hello all again.. I just downloaded the Import/export program helper thing. I tried watching the you tube video but there is no one talking and I can't read the text.. I want to import and install different towns and maps for hide and seek and some other games Ifound online that seem pretty cool.. Please someone walk me thru it..

The newest version of ACToolkit supports this...

Just check the thread and download the latest version.

I have the new actools. I just don't know how to import or export towns or acres..

When you go to "Edit Acres", there should be an Import/Export button right below the town map. For example: here (thanks DDD)

When you go to "Edit Town", once it comes up, click File, and there's your import and export.

Hey again... Its not working... Maybe I am not asking the right ? Ok I am new to hacking and actools and even ACCF.. I would love if you could tell me how to put a new town in.. Step by step please.. I tried again and it didn't work.. The new town was over top of my old one.. Do I need to use the install tool?

I'm not sure which "new town" you downloaded, but it should have came with at least 2 .bin files. One dealing with the Acre Layout and the other with the Town layout.

You must import both in order for it to work. If you just import the Acres, it will not move your trees, neighbors, etc.

Some of this gets pretty advanced, and I don't really recommended doing it... but that's my opinion.
