    That's what I figured. It's not really energizer, but a company called X-something that Energizer has an agreement with. They seem reputable.


    It outputs at 800 milliamps I believe, while the charger outputs at 900. I guess this would just mean slower charging.

    It would as long as when it's plugged in the 3DS doesn't run off the charger

    I suspect that it charges the battery and the system runs off the battery always just gotta hope that the 800mA is >= the running costs in terms of power to the 3DS otherwise it won't offer a net gain of battery charge while it's in use.

    Well, forget that pack. Nyko is making a battery that replaces the 3DS's battery. Sticks out a little, and I guess it's a sort of heavy, but I like heavy hand helds. Doubles battery life, so that's good for me. Will run at the proper amperage, so it's all good. Available release day. I have $75 in free money coming to me (Swagbucks, and u.talk.back), so I'm gonna buy myself some nice 3DS crap.
