    That's low priority on my TODO list. It has limited use (only a convenience factor for hackers to play with in their own town). You can't trade them with non-hackers.
    Also if anyone has the rainbow hats, please email it to me.

    Not for PAL though...only for NTSC. And it would be better if it could be made into a mask anyway.

    IMHO: The gamesave editing tools are a bad place to learn programming. Much of the work goes into reverse engineering the file formats and other details of the game written by Nintendo.
    It is more fun to write your own game, using a programming language/tool of your choice.
    Visual Basic and Delphi are common choices (and available for free or almost free).

    FWIW: My tools are written in C++ (NPC_Tool, EZ_DLC_Install etc). For an example of a C/C++ tool editing animal crossing gamesaves, check the source for the old AC:WW Map Editor (http://www.aibohack.com/nds/ac_source.htm ). The gamesave file format is documented too (that's what takes the most time to figure out).
    The other tools AFAIK (ACToolkit, PattView) are written in Delphi, a variant of PASCAL.

    There is little reason for anyone to release the source code to their AC:CF tools. It can be a lot of extraneous work with a very small audience.
    (with one exception: after a year or so, when a program goes 'abandonware')

    But still, I want to learn the mechanism of the EZ_DLC_Install.
    It's very very interesting.

    I just cataloged the ghost umbrella (Japan DLC), the item has address $ABE0. Hopefully it will also appear in the new version EZ_DLC tool soon.
