Pattern Studio - New Leaf Pattern Editor

I'm using Chrome on Windows 7. I tried dropping a regular image. I would drag it and the box would turn green but once i dropped it nothing would happen.

That's odd. What is the format of the image (png, jpg, etc)?

JPEG. Also, I'm curious how the QR code drop works. I've used an app on my phone that lets me change the pattern ID of QR code patterns so that I can edit them as if they were mine. I assume that's what the QR code drop is? I must not be using it right :c

I think it's for after you've created a pattern from an image, then you drag and drop one of your own QR patterns to get the data it needs. Then you save the image/new QR and you'll be able to edit it in your game. At least that's how I used it.
