    Default Wii In Maintenance Mode

Did you know if you hold down the A, +, and - buttons on the Wii remote, while your at the Wii Menus Health Startup Screen it make your wii go into maintenance mode?

    Instructions. [Noobs]

    Turn on your wii.

When the health warning comes up press down on the +, and - buttons, until the wii remote syncs. [The light at the bottom turns solid blue.]

While still holding the + and - buttons press A on the wii remote.

Your Wii is now in maintenance mode. You may not use your wii message sender or look at your messages. xD To get it out of maintenance just restart your wii. [Turn it off.]

Wonder what its used for......No changes that I see are made, beside the wii message board.

I read about it. Its probably for Nintendo running some recovery applications if your wii has problems. How do you get out of it?

Say what you mean, mean what you say, and let your actions speak for you.

Yeah It helps when you get a "System Files are Corrupted" message.

if you have a malformed banner, most of the time it will give you that error message.

If your Wii Menu's IOS disappears, you better hope you have BootMii as boot2 installed.

If someone were able to make a fix for this could it help a bricked wii? or when the bootloader is bricked the health message doesnt show?

If the bootloader is bricked then you're screwed.
