Using MS Paint, Windows XP SP2, the tool still dislikes the images... I'm following the palette and saving as a "16 Color Bitmap", the default. I've also tried every possible combination in Photoshop CS4 (saving as indexed, RBG, choosing Windows or OS/2, etc.)Originally Posted by Riku98523

Even if I open a fresh save (no textures messed with), export them, open one in Paint and add one dot that's in the palette, save with default settings, and try to import... I get an error about the format being incorrect, and to please use Paint.

(I'm using the same, SP3 but that shouldn't matter)
Please email a sample .BMP ([email protected]). The BMP read code is very simple in the current version. It could be made more flexible.
