I cant use My AR on ACWW

My friend said I dont need the (m) code and now My AR wont work on ACWW it just goes black so I need to know the RIGHT steps for getting the (m) code back so I can hack ACWW.

There are different master codes for different versions of the game. Google is your friend.

ugh. Action Replay Code Manager. Go to the Datel's subscription and take the (M) Code there. if that doesn't work. update it by clicking the DS cartridge on the top right of the ARCM. (Make sure you have your DS AR plugged in)

I cant do that either becasue im waiting for 2 hours with my USB cable hooked up from my AR to my computer and its saying Waiting for DS so I click Quick update and it says You need to connect your AR before you can Quick update.
I suck at technology -_-
